The workshop featured guest speakers Damaris Gibson-Taylor and Devin Carter from First Horizon Bank, who shared invaluable expertise on personal finance management.

When Joshua first joined the program, he approached it with a mixture of excitement and apprehension, uncertain about what lay ahead. However, the Ladders Program soon proved to be a turning point in his life, providing him with the essential tools, skills, and support needed to turn his aspirations into reality.

The event, held on July 10th, 2024, focused on fostering resilience, building community, and equipping participants with the tools to envision and achieve brighter futures.

The Georgia Public Defender Council held the Ladders Program’s 2nd Annual Career Readiness Day On December 13th, 2023. The day-long event focused on fostering professional growth among youth 16-24 who are exiting the justice system.

On Wednesday, October 26th, the Ladders Program held its fourth Soft Skills workshop, focusing on nurturing a growth mindset. The program continues to see an increase in participants and community involvement.
